Description
Premium Surgical Microscope for Microsurgery
The Leica M720 OH5 is the premium operating microscope for neurosurgery, otolaryngology and reconstructive microsurgery.
With this operating microscope, surgeons will benefit from greater visibility in deep cavities or lesions and improved ergonomics and comfort. The Leica M720 OH5 surgical microscope also offers full HD 3D and 2D visualization and recording, so that the entire surgical team as well as students will be able to observe and learn more easily.
The robust OH5 floor stand, designed by Mitaka, features long reach and electromagnetic brakes for lightweight positioning and fast stabilization.
More space to work
The Leica M720 has an extremely compact optical head. This helps improve surgeon ergonomics by facilitating a more natural postural alignment. It also allows greater instrument maneuverability by creating more free working space and unobstructed access to the surgical site.
Excellent surgeon ergonomics
Leica Microsystems’ butterfly-binoculars accommodate all body heights, for both the surgeon and the assistant, as well as the most challenging surgical positions to ensure comfortable working during surgery. The eyepieces swing easily and quickly to a second viewing position.
Improved visibility in deep cavities
Small Angle Illumination (SAI) distributes light more evenly, and reduces shadows in the surgical field, providing: increased detail visibility, improved depth perception, and deeper light penetration. This concentrated light beam is especially beneficial for narrow surgical access techniques such as intra-tracheal, transsphenoidal or METRx.
Intraoperative fluorescence
The surgical fluorescence modules FL400 (oncological fluorescence with 5-ALA), FL800 (vascular fluorescence with ICG) and FL560 (fluorescence) provide real-time information to the surgeon and OR team, directly through the microscope eyepieces or on a monitor. More information supports your precision, helping you to provide the best possible outcome for your patient.
A Paradigm Shift
- Comfort through ergonomic design
- Brilliant images
- Patient safety support
- Intraoperative fluorescence
- Viewing for the entire OR team
- Positioning flexibility
- Superior manoeuvrability
Compact Horizontal Optics
The substantial gain in the free working distance gives the surgeon unobstructed access to the surgical area, greater instrument manoeuvrability, and an optimal view.
Butterfly Binoculars
Leica’s butterfly binoculars accommodate all body heights, for both the surgeon and the assistant, as well as the most challenging surgical positions. The tubes have an inclination range of 115°, and the eyepieces swing to a second viewing plane quickly and easily
SpeedSpot
Two laser beams act as a focusing reference to quickly provide a defined focus point for all three viewing ports (surgeon, assistant, and camera).
